In 1989 after five years of development, The Hershey Company debuted SYMPHONY Milk Chocolate Bars, featuring a milder, creamier milk chocolate that was popular in Europe.
HERSHEY’S SYMPHONY Bar’s predecessor, the Mild and Mellow milk chocolate bar, was in production from 1934 to 1941, then it was discontinued due to sugar rationing in WWII.
There are two kinds of HERSHEY’S SYMPHONY Milk Chocolate Bars, which have the same ingredients as classic HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate Bars, but in different amounts, resulting in a creamier milk chocolate. The red SYMPHONY Bars are milk chocolate while the blue SYMPHONY Bars contain almonds and toffee.
You bet they are! And they come in XL and Giant sizes for HERSHEY’S SYMPHONY Bar lovers.
HERSHEY’S SYMPHONY Bars do not contain gluten ingredients. Always refer to each package for current ingredients and allergen statements to make an informed decision about Hershey products. If you have additional questions, contact Customer Service or explore our gluten free labeled Hershey products.
