This dessert is for serious chocolate lovers. This velvety pudding is made with HERSHEY'S Chocolate Syrup and HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips and delivers a mouthful of chocolatey goodness with every bite. Take it up a notch by adding chocolate shavings and whipped cream on top!
With wire whisk, stir sugar, cornstarch and salt in large heavy-bottomed saucepan. Gradually blend in half & half, HERSHEY'S Chocolate Syrup and HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until chips are melted. Increase heat to medium. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat to low; continue cooking 1 minute.
Remove from heat; gradually stir approximately 1 cup of chocolate mixture into beaten eggs, stirring until well blended. Return egg mixture to saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils; boil and stir 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in butter and vanilla.
Pour into individual serving dishes. Press plastic wrap directly onto surface. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Garnish with whipped cream topping and chocolate shavings.
